The Educational Video Production Process

Defining Your Vision

The video production process begins in the discovery stage, where we research your brand and what may be included in your video. This phase is where we discuss your vision for the project and what the purpose of the video is. This will give us a clear idea of your goals for the video, so we can begin brainstorming.

Brainstorming

Once we have a clear direction on where the video is headed, we will discuss different ideas for the video. This stage is when we will decide where to shoot, what exactly will be filmed, and what elements we want to include. Our team will collaborate to narrow these ideas down and present our ideas to you. After receiving your input, we will decide exactly what will be included in the final production.

Scheduling & Planning

Different videos can take up very different amounts of time and work. At this stage, we will discuss deadlines and pick out dates and locations to film the video. We will most likely pick one day for the shoot, and plan out any additional footage that may need to be captured. We will also factor in editing time and determine a final deadline for the project.

Video Production

Now comes the fun part. On the agreed upon date we will show up to the location and set up equipment. Exact filming process depends on location, equipment, and content. After all of the footage has been captured, our team will head back to the office and begin post-production.

Post-Production

Post-production is where everything comes together. We gather together the best footage and add transitions, animations, sounds, and other elements based upon your wants. We will also adjust lighting and sound to produce the highest-quality video possible. Once we have finalized all of these elements, we will sit down with you and discuss what changes or additions you’d like to be made. After all of the tweaks have been sorted out, your educational video is finally finished. All of the time spent planning, scheduling, and filming came together and produced a professional, high-quality video that is sure to educate and inspire you and your audience alike.

Educational Video Production FAQs

We only offer custom pricing for our educational video production services. With custom pricing, how much you spend is largely up to you. Pricing is dependent on the length and complexity of the project, but the high-quality video you receive will never differ based on price. We are committed to providing you a visually stunning educational video within your set budget.

Our video production services include high definition photography and the option of a state-of-the-art drone. To face the facts, educational content is not typically very engaging. With educational video production, you will be able to entertain and excite your audience, all while educating them. Your audience will benefit by being motivated to learn, and you will benefit by spreading your knowledge.

The video production process is highly variable, but a rough estimate would be 6-8 weeks. This time frame allows us to produce the best possible work and ensures you receive the highest quality product. We set high standards for our videos, and believe the process provides the best results when unrushed. We will work our best to accommodate your needs and adjust to your schedule.

A good educational video must be two things: instructional and interesting. Educational content has a bad reputation for being boring and unexciting. Here at Mack Media Group, we want to help you change that narrative. We will work with you to create a video that captures your audience while fitting your educational goals. We are committed to creating an educational video that gets your message and lesson across and leaves your audience inspired to learn more.

Educational Video Production Services to Educate Your Audience

Educational videos have become a vital part of education inside and outside the classroom. Whether it be extra tutoring help regarding a classroom lesson, a training video for new employees, or a “how-to” tutorial promoting a certain skill, educational videos are a unique alternative to traditional learning. Instead of just sitting in a boring classroom or lecture hall, audiences can interact and engage with a video they find entertaining while still learning something new.
