On this episode of the Mack Talks, we have a different format with three celebrity guests! Live from the Mohegan Sun Wine and Food Festival, Scott interviews Chefs Rocco DiSpirito, Ben Robinson, and Michele Ragussis.
Rocco DiSpirito got his rise to fame in the culinary world through hosting many television shows on Food Network, Bravo, and other networks. Currently DiSpirito has a book planned to be released on March 3rd and further collaborations with Guy Fieri on the Food Network. He is an avid believer of chefs making a name for themselves through an active online presence. Along with his book release, Rocco recently left the Standard Grille in Manhattan, New York and is working on a new project.

Most known from Bravo’s series Below Deck, Ben Robinson rose as a prominent celebrity chef. While working on the show, he described it as “having two jobs” where he worked as a chef and as a cast member, his nickname The Escapist tells you that he wasn’t focused on one of those jobs and aided towards his unique personality. Robinson is currently working on a book and a possible future franchise concept. In the interview he discusses the fast paced world of cheffing on some of the largest luxury yachts in the world.

With her rising non-profit organization Chef’s for Disaster Relief, Michele Ragussis is using her platform as a celebrity chef to help many worthy causes. Known on television as a finalist on the eighth season of Food Network’s Food Network Star. Michele sees herself as more of an artist than a business person, focusing on her craft and always enjoying it. For 2020 she’s working on releasing a book and continuing the annual tradition of seeing her fellow chefs at events across the country.
