Step 1

Before we even begin your Contracting company’s PPC campaign, our team will do thorough research to identify all potential keyword variations. We don’t cut corners; we take extra time to be sure that every keyword variation is a reliable source of search traffic and conversion. We will also study other competing contractor marketing campaigns to learn what has been successful, and what has failed in the industry. Step 2

The next step is to build out the campaigns, adgroups, ads, and keywords making use of all relevant ad extensions and settings. If it is useful we can also build a sister campaign in Bing Ads.

Finally, we will continuously monitor and optimize your ads. We will clean our negative keyword list, and build out new ads that can run against existing ads. To improve conversion rates we can issue a remarketing campaign. We can use call and web tracking to determine the number of new customers and leads that are being generated through PPC advertising.

Pay-Per-Click Management (PPC) FAQs

Almost all website traffic comes from search engines. Search engine traffic produces relevant, transaction-seeking individuals who are exclusively looking for contractors. SEO optimization allows for organic results, but can often take longer than you’d like.

Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising, on the other hand, offers instant access to your target audience by prioritizing your ad on search results. This means allows you to move your ad to the top of a query, above organic results. This gives you an edge by giving an immediate flow of customers to your contracting company.

Advertising is competitive. You have a number of competing advertisers bidding the amount they’re willing to pay for each click on their ad (the cost-per-click). These ads will appear for a specific set of keywords.

All of your competitors are doing everything they can to be placed in the top spot. How do you win the top spot? By having the highest Ad Rank—a score determined by CPC and quality score. Quality score is based on a number of factors: relevancy of your ad, expected click-through-rate (CTR), ad extensions, and the content of the landing page.

The search result order will be determined according to your Ad Rank. If your rank is the highest, you gain the first PPC spot for your keyword. If your rank is lowest, you may have the fourth or fifth spot… or no spot at all.

This is dependent on the type and setup of your ad. Search Ads specifically appear above or below organic search results on Google, Bing, and other search partners. Display Ads consist of banners, videos, or rich-content ads displayed on other websites that agree to show them. You can select which websites your display ad shows on based on topics, keywords, and other factors. Remarketing Ads are display ads that are only visible to customers that have visited your website before. It is up to you to choose where and when they appear as needed.
There are many targeting options for PPC ads. The most crucial is that, you can target ads to a particular set of keywords or topics a user enters. This allows displays ads to appear selectively, so that people you know have an interest in home services will see them.

You are able to target the search location, time of day, type of device, and income level. Display Ads and Remarketing Ads even offer extra targeting options, such as demographic and psychographic attributes.

Yes you can. If you have an existing Adwords or Bing Ads account, we’ll run your campaigns through them. Or, if you don’t have one, we can build one out for you.

And if your services come to an end, we’ll provide you all required access to advertisement accounts.

The cost per click is not always the same. It all varies based upon your bid. If there’s more competition bidding on a keyword, you’ll need a higher cost-per-click (CPC) bid. Your CPC will also rise if your quality score is lower.

Quality score is used  in measuring the relevance of your ad and landing page for a keyword. The more relevant your page, the higher your quality score—and the better your Ad Rank. An ad with a high quality score and low CPC bid can rank higher than a low quality score and high CPC bid.
