The Drone Video Production Process

Defining Your Vision

The Mack Media video production process begins with defining a clear vision of your project, and the marketing goals of your Groton business. Whether you want to garner more business, grow your brand identity, show off past work, or something else, Mack Media will work with you to clearly define your vision before shooting a single frame. We want to help your customers understand your business more, and we want to provide you with video content such as aerial drone footage that will help fulfill your goals. After we discuss your goals, we will immediately go on to create a plan with you to achieve that objective.

Scheduling & Planning

Once a storyboard or script is developed for your new video, we will establish a post-production and shooting schedule to accompany it. We will work directly with you to ensure we do not interfere with the daily operations of your organization when we film. Depending on the plan we will also factor daylight, nighttime, and Groton’s weather forecast into the schedule as accurately as possible.

Shooting

Our fully licensed FAA certified pilots are responsible for shooting all aerial video content. The video production team will arrive on site at the designated location and time to capture the desired footage. Once filmed, they will return to the video production office to begin work on post-production.

Post-Production

The final stage of the video production process is Post-Production. During this stage our team edits the footage, and this is when animations, music, and additional effects are added to create the final product.

At Mack Media Group, we take the time to ensure your Video project is running smoothly and is finished on schedule. The process of your video starts with a meeting between Mack Media and your Groton business. At this meeting we will discuss what you are looking to achieve with your video. Our Video Producers will also brainstorm additional ideas with you and suggest alternative concepts, if needed. We will also develop a video script or storyboard following the meeting.

Next, we will schedule the days of shooting your video and the timeline of your project. Once we finalize our plans, we will begin to shoot the video with the latest and most up-to-date equipment and technology. Once we have enough footage, we can move onto post-production. During this time we integrate any animations, edit lighting, add in or edit sound options, and make sure your video is of the highest quality.
