The Drone Video Production Process

Defining Your Vision

When Mack Media sets out to help your Glastonbury business, we really try to be as thorough as possible. To help your customers understand your business more, we want to provide you with video content such as aerial drone footage that will enhance whatever products or services you have. We will immediately go on to develop a plan that is based around your vision once we discuss your ideas.

Scheduling & Planning

Upon creating the storyboard or script for your new video, we will come up with a shooting and post-production schedule. While shooting, we promise to not interrupt your company’s daily operation. We also consider the time of day for shooting and what types of lighting to use, depending on what you are looking to achieve.

Shooting

Our fully licensed FAA certified pilots will be the only ones allowed to create your video content. They will arrive on site at the designated location and time, then film your wanted footage and bring the content back to our office to work on it in post-production.

Post-Production

The last stage of the process before you see the final product is Post-production. Our Video Production team will edit your video once we have received all the footage, including any suggested music or animations. After the project is complete, we can help you share the video on your website and social media.

The Video Production of Drone Photography will have a varied timeframe. It is dependent upon if you want traditional video blended with drone photography or solely drone video. The production time will take 6-8 weeks for a blended project. The editing of drone photography is a quicker process and can take as early as 1-3 weeks to complete.

At Mack Media Group, we take the time to make sure your Video project is efficient and finished on-time. First, Mack Media will meet your Glastonbury business and discuss with you what you are looking to achieve with your video. Our Video Producers will also brainstorm additional ideas with you and suggest alternative concepts if needed. As a result from our meeting, we will then create a video script or storyboard.

Next, we will schedule the days of shooting your video and develop a timeline for your project. Once we finalize our plans, using the latest and updated equipment and technology, we will then begin to shoot the video. We can move onto post-production after we have more than enough footage for you to be happy, and edit lighting, integrate any animations, include sound options and make sure your video is of the best quality.
