The Drone Video Production Process

Defining Your Vision

When Mack Media sets out to help your Danbury business, we really try to dig as deep as possible. We want to help your customers understand your business more, and we want to provide you with video content such as aerial drone footage that will enhance whatever products or services you have. After we discuss your ideas, we will immediately go on to create a plan that includes your vision.

Scheduling & Planning

After we create the storyboard or script for your new video, we will also create a shooting and post-production schedule to go along with it. We will make sure to not interfere with your companies daily operations when we shoot. Depending on what you are looking to achieve, we also consider the time of day for shooting and what types of lighting to use.

Shooting

We only allow our fully licensed FAA certified pilots to create your video content. They will arrive on site at the designated location and time, then capture your desired footage and bring the content back to our office to work on it in post-production.

Post-Production

Post-Production is the last stage in your project before you get to see the final product. After we receive the footage, our Video Production team will edit your video including any suggested music or animations. Once it is finished, we can also help you use the video on your website and social media.

The Video Production of Drone Photography will have a varied timeframe. It depends on if you want solely drone photography or traditional video blended with drone video. If you want a blended project, then the production time will take 6-8 weeks. The editing of drone photography is a simpler process and will take as early as 1-3 weeks to complete.

At Mack Media Group, we take the time to make sure your Video project is running smoothly and finished on-time. The process of your video starts with Mack Media meeting your Danbury business and discussing what you are looking to achieve with your video. Our Video Producers will also brainstorm additional ideas with you and suggest alternative concepts if needed. We will also take care of the video script or storyboard that will result from our meeting.

Then we will schedule the days of shooting your video and the timeline of your project. Once we finalize our plans, we will then begin to shoot the video with the latest and updated equipment and technology. Once we have enough footage, we can move onto post-production and integrate any animations, edit lighting, include sound options and make sure your video is of the highest quality.
